Richard P. Barth is professor and chair of the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Previously he served as the Frank A. Daniels Distinguished Professor at the School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Hutto Patterson Professor at the School of Social Welfare, University of California, Berkeley. He holds an MSW and PhD from Brown University and University of California, Berkeley.
