David R. Pacheco is director of the California Senate Fellows at California State University, Sacramento. He was formerly principal consultant for the business and professions committee and director of communications and intercultural studies at the California State Assembly. Pacheco received his MA in administration of higher education from San José State University, and both his MA in education administration and policy analysis and his EdD in sociology of education from Stanford University.
