Baiyu Zhou is a doctoral candidate in applied microeconomics with a specialization in labor economics at the University of California, Davis. She is specifically interested in the economics of education, and her research agenda centers on educational policies and student outcomes. Zhou is affiliated with both the California Education Lab and the Center for Poverty and Inequality Research. She has been a teaching assistant and research fellow in both her undergraduate and graduate careers and was an exchange student in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme in Science while studying at the National University of Singapore. She received her MA in economics from the University of California, Davis.
