Sunyoung Jung is a professor of social welfare at Incheon National University in Korea. Her research interests include child maltreatment, poverty, early intervention, maternal work, and family-related values. She has served on the advisory board of Dream Start, a national early intervention program for low-income children in Korea, and for the working committee of national child policy. She has also participated in various research projects about designing and revising child-related policies in Korea. She received her PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
