Sandra J. Stein is the CEO and academic dean of New York City's Leadership Academy, a leadership development program for aspiring, new, and veteran principals in the New York City public school system. She is also an associate professor at the School of Public Affairs, Baruch College, and at the City University of New York, where she was also founding director of their Aspiring Leaders Program. She received her PhD in education administration and policy analysis from Stanford University.
