Hayin Kimner is senior policy and research fellow at PACE. She is also the managing director for the CA Community Schools Learning Exchange and a nonresident fellow in the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution, Kimner is an educational practitioner, researcher and evaluator, and policy advocate with a focus on community school systems and partnerships. She served as a senior program director for the Opportunity Institute and has led the development of district-wide and citywide community school strategies for both the San Francisco Unified School District and the Emery Unified School District. Kimner currently works with organizations focused on advancing whole-child and equity research, policies, and practices. She received her PhD from Stanford Graduate School of Education.
