Davis Vo is a PhD student in the School of Education and Information Studies (Ed&IS) and an MS student in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is interested in using mixed methods to better understand issues of equity as they relate to the academic and labor market experiences of community college students, particularly of those from communities that are historically minority. He spent over 10 years in advising, teaching, and academic/institutional research roles across California’s education system both in the nonprofit sector and in K–12, community college, and public/private university systems.
