Allene Timar is a consultant in higher education with expertise in systemwide policy and instructional improvement. She was vice president of instruction at Napa Valley College and also vice chancellor of student services at City College of San Francisco. She was formerly an advisor and researcher for PACE.  Timar received her doctorate in educational administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
